National Night Out

Dear National Night Out Coordinator:

Target will once again partner with the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) to be a sponsor of the 28th Annual National Night Out (NNO) on Aug. 2, 2011*. As a sponsor, we’ll provide volunteers and funding for the national organizational and promotional activities.

Our support of NNO is part of our commitment to community. Since 1946, Target has given 5% of our income to the communities we serve. Today, that equals more than $3 million every week to support education, the arts, social services and volunteerism.

Target recognizes the need to develop partnerships that bring together expertise and resources to create safer and healthier communities. We have a proud history of partnership with local law enforcement agencies through Target® & BLUE®, our program that addresses issues of safety and security affecting our guests, team members and communities.

To help you plan your NNO event, template materials such as an invitation, e-vite graphics, poster and neighborhood and emergency contact sheets are available on this page.

The Assets Protection team at your local Target store will be your primary point of contact for NNO. We encourage you to call or visit your local store and introduce yourself to them. Participation of Target stores in NNO may vary from community to community and is at the discretion of the store leadership.

We look forward to working with you to ensure the success of NNO 2011!

*Note: In Texas, October 4, 2011 is an optional alternate date for NNO events.
